Call For Papers

Deadline for Submissions Extended to June 15, 2017

9th Annual Interdisciplinary Conference on Human Trafficking

September 7 - 9, 2017, Lincoln, Nebraska

This is an invitation for you to submit a 300-word abstract for the Ninth Interdisciplinary Conference on Human Trafficking at the University of Nebraska. The conference will take place from Thursday, September 7 through Saturday, September 9 at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, Nebraska. As in all previous years, we expect to be the premier conference on knowledge in human trafficking.

Anyone who has academic or professional work to present should submit an abstract of up to 300 words, plus answer additional questions, on our submission website ( http://humantrafficking.unl.edu/info.aspx#papers ) by April 15. The presentations will normally be 25 minutes with an additional 15 minutes for discussion. The organizing committee is willing to consider other formats, such as panel presentations or poster presentations. We are not seeking workshops, however, but presentations of facts, knowledge, ideas, theories, on-the-ground approaches, methods, program evaluations, research agendas, and research needs.

The committee will expect a commitment to attend by at least one of the accepted presenters, with a non-refundable deposit of $50, by July 1, 2017, for presenters to remain on the program. The deposit may be paid at the registration website. This $50 will constitute the first $50 of your registration fee. We expect to announce acceptances by late May.

Hope to see you there!
